Well, my wife and I ran the Bupa Great North Run 2014 on September 7th under sunny blue skies in Newcastle and completed the 13.1 mile course in 2:51:27 and 1:50:00 respectively. What a fabulous day it was.
The accommodation was great, organisation fantastic and the run itself hard work but very rewarding.
As I write this post, with the help and support of amazing family, friends and work colleagues we have currently raised £471.17 (excluding gift aid) for the type 1 diabetes charity JDRF.
Our original target was £500 so any donation, large or small that helps us squeak past our target will be greatly appreciated.
