Running Log

4.03 mile run, 33′48”, 8′24” avg pace, 530 kcal, ahr 167 bpm, mhr 189 bpm.

After my hiatus of over a month I’m back and running :) I’m trying to fit in a run every other day.

It’s very interesting to see the rise in both average heart rate (up ~ 10-20 bpm) and the recorded maximum heart rate (up ~ 15-30 bpm) compared with my previous runs after having had over a month not running. The lack of fitness is really clear to see if heart rate is anything to go by. I’m hoping though that I’ll recover back to my usual values quickly. We’ll see…
